This expands the total number of hubs on my desk to 3, and the total number of USB ports to somewhere around the 20 mark, which is actually quite needed for a YouTuber / Streamer when you have USB audio in, USD audio out, condenser mic, mixer table, webcam(s), keyboard, mouse, game controller(s), printers, chargers, SD card readers, etc. so I quite like this hub. Specifically, it has a Very low profile compared to the vertical standup Amazon basics hub that I recently added.
I would definitely recommend this for anyone with a laptop - especially a mac as I mentioned in the video, where you desperately need that HDMI out and possibly even just having a USB A at all, but for desktop users: keep in mind the length of the cord. Since I have a USB hub from my desktop to the top of my desk already, I was able to just plug it into the hub and it sits right next to it, however; if I were to plug this into my desktop itself, it would either be hanging from the back, hanging from the front, or I would have to tape it onto the top or something (my case is not flat on top). This can, of course, be solved by extending the connection, but then you're back to losing speed at the hub, so it's just something to keep in mind. Overall a definite recommendation as far as USB hubs go, especially for the quality + price of AUKEY.
