9The struggle for survival continues, but with engi ingenuity and a little human determination, the 'Second Light' presses forward, accumulating a number of interesting tools as they close in on the final sectors before arrival at the Federation muster point. The crew amasses new upgrades and retrofits that allow the formerly toothless ship itself to mount several powerful weapons, and anybody thinking to take advantage of the engis in space or boarding actions have a surprise in store.
Few suspected the engi cruiser was capable of such a stellar performance throughout the campaign with its seemingly odd loadout, but so far, it has carried the day in every engagement, and there is little doubt that we will at least make our final rendezvous with the Federation base.
After that, though? Are we ready?
