So yeah. I got FTL after watching some Youtube LPs of it and reading a few basic walkthroughs. So after running through the pretty simple tutorial section, I decided, hey, I'll make my own video LP of this game! It sure is a lot of fun, I have to say.

Our first ship, the Kestral-class decommissioned frigate 'Dawn Treader', sets out from an overrun Federation outpost, with the entire Rebel army hot on its tail and precious few supplies to spare.

The name is a C. S. Lewis reference, although I've never read any Narnia past number one as a child, eh. I just thought the name was cool, honestly. Spur of the moment thing.
