Grinding for days, running simulator, always online, lag, kill on site, boredom, repetitive-ness. Survival games such as Rust and Ark Survival Evolved have some annoying issues and I try to talk about a few of them in this video.

1. The Grind - tree cutting simulator, running simulator, dino taming simulator

7. Significant time investment in order to have fun on a server, cannot be gradual like over a month time, it has to be like a 5 hour investment up front and then daily playing of the game

3. Lack of reason to do stuff: no point building a base, no point going to a certain location etc.

4. Significant disadvantage if you are on your own

5. Lack of content/games get boring fast, people run out of things to do and then just start doing dumb stuff - sympton of early access games

6. Poor optimization, wiping way too often, having to restart over and over again
