6 WayForward Video Games You Might Have Forgotten!
89One of my favorite video game developers is #wayforward - to say that they make some of my favorite games would be a massive understatement. Games like #Shantae, #ContraOperationGaluga, and #MightySwitchForce are some of my favorites - and that's before we even begin to talk about things like their remaster of #AdvanceWars. But throughout their history, there's been a ton of games that @WayForward have made that some folks might have forgotten about - here's 6 of my favorites!
A 'Sidequest' type game from the #JusticeLeagueHeroes series, JLH #TheFlash stars my favorite member of the League, and is a spectacular fast paced #beatemup on the #GBA.
My absolute favorite platforming beat-em-up on the #Wii is, by far, #batman the Brave and the Bold. Featuring a gorgeous art style straight out of the series, and the voice actors all reprising their roles, it's a magnificently fun game that more people should play.
Making use of both screens for active gameplay was frequently overlooked on the #nintendods, but WayForward made active engagement a thing with their release of #ThorGodofThunder.
One of my favorite NES games was David Crane's #aboyandhisblob - and while it's a classic title on Nintendo's 8-bit console, I NEVER thought we'd get a remake. The Wii release (and subsequent ports to modern consoles) captures the imagination and charm of the original admirably.
As a lifelong #TMNT fan, any time a new animated series comes out I'm met with a bit of trepidation because how could it compare to the original series? But 2013's #Teenagemutantninjaturtles on Nickelodeon not only lived up to those lofty expectations, I personally think it's a better series than the OG. And the game WayForward made - #Dangeroftheooze - is fantastic fun.
And while no one forgets about this game, people might have forgotten that WayForward did the remaster of the #Capcom classic - #ducktales Remastered is one of my favorite games. I wish we'd gotten WayForward to make a completely new game based on the incredible 2017 series.
