Back in 6.4 during HoO's ER Release, I was asked to test out Handel for HoO. However, I had completely forgotten to do it, so here we are. Since this is a QUA weather, it was a very good opportunity to do it now. And so, here's the result.

Now, the difference between Raiden Mei and Handel is very clear as can be seen in this run. The one thing in which Handel wins over Raiden is that it gives way, way higher DMG to her Ultimate. Meaning, with Handel, HoO's Ult has way, way higher DMG output.

The gameplay is nothing different; it's the same normal HoO gameplay. Just remember to keep track of the free UE skill every 6 seconds in order to easily proc your Combos up into Malice Expunged, and if your Combo damage is more than enough to finish off one wave by itself, save your Ultimate, otherwise use both together. During your Ultimate's downtime, Malice Expunged will do the job.

12% TDM Emblem used. S0 rank 1458 ATK Unity & Raiden Mei HoO. HoO also surprisingly has some decent downscalability as shown by this run; Handel fits with this build really well. While not as strong as the signature set, it does however very clearly compete pretty well with it. Magtyphoon can also work.

Boss to take: Husk Mysticism, then Elysia or Vill-V

Supports Picked: AE & BR / BK
Note: AE and BR will be your staple supports for the entirety of the run, with BK as optional before the fight against Heimdall in case you're not confident against him. Also, please note that at some point once you've picked on a couple of the main cores, if your HoO's dmg is high enough, you can save AE or BR for burst spike increases on her damage for any upcoming waves; this is for speedrunning purposes, however.

Remembrance Sigils: Pseudo Miracle & Because of You (Start) / The Lonely Moon (F9+) / Dreamful Gold (Optional, F13+)
Note: Because of You is essential for this build in order to get all the 4 desired Ego signets. After F7, swap it out for The Lonely Moon, then after Heimdall fight, you can choose to swap it out for Dreamful Gold.

Load Buffs: Combo ATK gives 20% Elem Breach, Diff Support Type gives 8% Phys/Elem DMG, Melee ATK gives 10% TDM

Ego Signets: Expungement + Ultra. For this build, Expungement is the starter signet and Ultra is a must to get from F2 Ego reset. Afterwards, grab Inscription + Lethal Smite from Because of You by F7 Double.

[Ideal course of build up: 2 Ego Start (Expungement + Ultra) into V-V's Conflict or Pendulum by F2, finish V-V 1st Core by F4 Double, go shop F5 and use 3* Remembrance Sigil Abuse to EITHER get 2 of Hua's desired signets OR one of them and Griseo's Red Paint. You can also grab Red and get Aponia's Fourth or get 2 of Aponia's signets; the first 2 are the ideal options, otherwise your damage will be lacking. Then ideally you want to finish Hua's 2nd Core by F6, if not, by F8, otherwise go for Aponia's 2nd Core.]

1- Vill-V: Conflict, Pendulum, Spoon, 1st Core
Note: You ideally want to get these 3 and the rest are completely ignored. Once you get them and 1st Core done, you shift your focus to the other Cores.

2 or 3- Hua: TDM, Elem DMG, Elem Breach, Reduced DMG Taken (Filler), 2nd Core, Broken Dream (Optional), Wordly Troubles (Filler)
Note: Either you finish Hua 2nd or you finish Aponia 2nd; they are interchangeable in their priority. For Hua, you want to ideally use 3* Remembrance Sigil Abuse to get both the TDM and Elem DMG at +3 as long as you finish its 2nd Core. Broken Dream is a nice optional to get.
Note2: Unlike how it happened in this run, I do not actually recommend getting Hua's DMG Reduction and Worldly Troubles signets. These signets are *only* acceptable if RNG gives you the middle finger and have to choose those like I had to. If you do get them, make sure to get Aponia's DMG Reduction.

2 or 3- Aponia: Ultimate, DMG Reduction OR SP Regen, 70 Initial Load, 2nd Core, Penance, TDM Taken (Optional), Breach (Filler)
Note: Either you finish Aponia 2nd or you finish Hua 3rd; they are interchangeable in their priority. Ultimate is high priority to +3. Penance is a must take if you can. TDM Taken is good for bosses. Also, you can take Second if you don't get the SP Regen. Just don't ever take First.
Note2: See Hua's 2nd Note. Aponia's TDM Reduction will be very strong if paired with Hua's DMG Reduction and Worldly Troubles in case you have no other choice due to bad RNG luck.

4- Griseo: Red, Yellow, Black, Blue, 2nd Core, Petals in the Wind, Fallen Leaves, A Flame Extinguished (Optional)
Note: Red and Yellow are absolute highest priority to +3. Black is good to +3. Use 3* Remembrance Sigil Abuse to try and get Petals and Fallen both at +2.

5- Pardofelis: Merchant's Philosophy, Shiny & Valuable, TDM, Phys/Elem DMG, 1st Core
Note: You can actually go without the Coins signets. If you can manage to finish Pardo's 1st Core, it'll be a very strong boost to your damage.

6- Sakura (Felis Shop Signets): TDM, TDM Taken
