The Operation Pitting of Kabul airlift evacuation is almost coming to an end. Taliban Forces have reclaimed most strategic points and are securing the countryside. NATO is evacuating its military and diplomatic personnel. Additionally, eligible Afghan citizens are being evacuated as well.

Civilians in the Anizay region have been largely assisting NATO forces. This puts them in danger because of radical Taliban units who will not follow the armistice and have already infiltrated villages and towns.

The 6th Airborne division and 908EAW of the RAF have been chosen to work in combined arms and evacuate civilians in the region. The local UN ambassador, who worked with locals for years, will join the 6th to make sure civilians won't feel threatened.
