We're covering the basic modding of adding custom items, in this case armour, to the game 7 Days to Die!

The same method can be used for many other items, where you make minor tweaks, changing items and create your own custom variants.

1) We'll cover changes in items.xml and recipes.xml
2) Adding a new glove type and adding icon, tint.
3) New helmet with light? Check!
4) Insulation and waterproofing
5) Recipes - ingredients and crafting
6) Make the items in game and wear them!
7) Thoughts of what could go wrong and how to fix.
