This beginner Spriest guide will take you through the basics of playing a good Shadow Priest in Antorus and beyond in World of Warcraft: Legion Patch 7.3. I'll go over Shadow Priest races, the 7.3 spriest rotation / spell priority, 7.3 Shadow Priest talent choices, the best shadow priest legendaries to wear in 7.3, the 7.3 Spriest stat priorities, some key addons to help you play a better Shadow Priest in 7.3 and some general spriest raiding tips to help you get the juiciest Voidforms.
NOTE that whenever I have a spell priority shown and I'm talking about a rotation, the PRIORITY takes precedence. Your actual rotation/ability order may shake up depending on which legendaries you have equipped, your haste, trinket procs, Bloodlust/heroism, etcetera. In order of availability you always want Void Torrent - Void Bolt - Mind Blast - Shadow Word: Death - Apply/refresh DoTs (hopefully you applied them while ramping up into Voidform) - Mind Flay. If you have a Void Torrent, Void Bolt, Mind Blast, Shadow Word Death available or you need to reapply a DoT, you should NOT be Mind Flaying. This is a skill I still need to work on myself, and it's key to doing the most damage as a Shadow Priest in 7.3.
