Fix Laggy WoW Input With a Secret Hidden Setting
Does your WoW input feel laggy even when your ms is fine? Try adjusting your SpellQueueWindow! SpellQueueWindow (formerly known as Custom Lag Tolerance) is a hidden setting in WoW that doesn't appear in menus. Since SpellQueueWindow is a console variable, you can adjust your SpellQueueWindow setting with a console command. This is safe and easy to do. This will not fix actual server or connection lag.
Find out your current SpellQueueWindow setting by typing /dump GetCVar("SpellQueueWindow") in the chat log and pressing enter. A number will appear, and that number is your current SpellQueueWindow (measured in milliseconds).
Change your SpellQueueWindow by typing /console SpellQueueWindow X and press enter, except you change out the X for the number you'd like to set it to.
I play in the 200ish area. Most specs have a strict GCD floor of 1 second but Shadow Priests for sure (possibly other specs I'm not aware of) have a much reduced minimum GCD during certain times such as Voidform. I hope this helps!
