0Woohoo! Naval battles, in an SRPG! I approve of the gimmick with the cannons - how they can take a set number of hits, irrespective of who's manning them, their range and aim limitations. Also note how the sprites now move with the deck - if you remember the train fight in Scenario 1, it didn't happen there. Hm, maybe that would've melted some processor or other, though. :-) For all that the Saturn is a fascinating piece of hardware, it doesn't have much of any kind of horsepower by today's standards.
Anyway... After all that bundle of fun, we'll have to fight up close and personal. Just some advance warning: Between this episode and the next I'll go back to HQ and collect a key. I was a little paranoid about certain events involving Rogan, and didn't want any detrimental effect of having keys in the HQ storage... which turns out to have been entirely irrelevant. (David still kicks the bucket, though.)
