7th Opening Start
The new Ace of the Atlanta Braves makes his 7th Opening Day start on the mound, as looks to tie retired starting pitcher Jimmy Key, with 7 consecutive wins on Opening Day. However, he goes on the road to the STL to face an team that has crossed paths with the Braves over the years, mostly in the playoffs, the Cardinals and their Ace, Jack Flatherty. These two teams have clashed in the playoffs, but were never able to get to win the World Series. In 1982, the Braves were swept by the Cardinals in the NLCS, but they returned the favor in 1996. Their last encounter in the playoffs was in 2000, where they got swept once again by the Cardinals in the NLDS. The Braves came back to the playoffs recently, but fell short against their division rivals, the Miami Marlins, in which their Ace was apart of the team. Now, he has signed with the Braves, as he goes into his 34th Aces Duel
