And here we have the finale, with, well....not a whole lot right in the world, but this is an inbetween game for DR1 and DR2, so we couldn't exactly have everything ending up happy, now, could we? Certain people have certain places to be to set the stage for DR2, after all.

But, a summary...the story is good, the gameplay is generally fine, although it takes a bit to get used to, and it connects the two games well enough. I just really take issue with some of the material they brought up. Although I'm not actually against having this type of content matter in games, it really needs a fine touch to be done well, and fine touches or subtlety are not in the purview of anyone that works on Danganronpa. Loud, bombastic, and hitting you over the head with the message is their style, and it really just makes a huge mess of issues like all of the child abuse that took place in the backstory and that continued to take place throughout the game, not to mention missed opportunities like having characters be unashamed pedophiles not really seeing any repercussions for that little sickness when one of the main characters is a direct result of years of abuse by pedophiles.

All in all, good game marred by some very, very poor design choices.
