The forty-eighth episode of Throne of Games, and our entry into the Starmen.Net 8-Bit Funktastic Fest 2013, originally streamed at 6pm ET on July 13th, 2013.

Bubble Bobble is a game I have many fond memories of. It was one of the few games my mom played (along with Dr. Mario and Lolo), so we played it together quite a bit, nearly beating it many times, but never quite getting that boss all the way down. River City Ransom was a game I didn't discover until I was in high school, but the action combined with RPG elements was something that immediately appealed to me. They are two of my favorite games on the NES, which is why I chose to play them for the 8-Bit Funktastic Fest.
