27th March 1943 - Orel with its extensive rail network and facilities, is of immense strategic value on the Eastern Front. There are reports of Soviet units advancing on this position and I must stop them! So my objective is to hold Orel against incoming attacks. If at all possible I am encouraged to go on the offensive and reclaim lost ground, but my main priority is to hold the line! Towards this end, I should find the rail network at Orel to be very useful to shuttle my units around the battlefield quickly. I should make use of the rail transports placed at my disposal to quickly redeploy units to help bolster our Italian allies and their defensive lines due south of Orel. I am informed though that Soviet partisan activity is on the rise and I may need to clear them out before I can make full use of the rail lines.

Difficulty is set to Rommel and we are trying to do a blind run with a historical unit composition. I will explain some advanced tactics and my thougths about different strategic approaches.
