There are few games about the Soviet-Afghan war, one of which being the 9th Company: Roots of Terror, a loose movie tie-in RTS from the 2000s. Despite being relatively competently made and offering a series of good mechanics and features, a myriad of bugs handicap much of its potential. This leaves behind a very flawed and interesting strategy game that's worth talking about.
