A beginner's guide to period underwear | Including Knix, Thinx, Speax, & Ruby Love
An unbiased review of period underwear, including my experience with them, video of how effective they are, how to clean and dry them, and cost.
I did want to add one note on washing and drying, which is to also not use fabric softener when you wash them, for the same reason as not using dryer sheets. You CAN dry them in the dryer if you use Woolzie Balls, or something similar, instead of dryer sheets. However, if you usually use dryer sheets in your dryer, it will leave a residue that could affect the pad’s absorption in the future, even if you don’t use them for that load.
Since this video I also purchased Bambody period underwear from Amazon. Similar to the Thinx pair, but under $20. XXS-6X, but I would suggest sizing up. They’re good quality and I recommend them, as well!
