A Bilingual Demonstration with Combot | Tekken 4 Story Mode - Lee Chaolan (Featuring Combot)
Maybe for the first time in five years that I've released something like this. Tekken 4 may be the Black Sheep, but it's notable for being the most unique and enjoyable of the games. Today, we're going to play as Lee Chaolan; everyone's favorite complicated yet charismatic Silver Fox.
Story of Lee Chaolan (Tekken 4):
Twenty Years have past since Lee Chaolan was removed from the Mishima Zaibatsu due to siding with Kazuya Mishima in the King of Iron Fist Tournament 2, and Lee, having established Violet Systems during the 2 decade gap, has lived a solitary life in the Bahamas after realizing that Heihachi's days are numbered. One day, he discovers that the G Corporation had lost a large share of their stock due to the Mishima Zaibatsu not only attacking the company's research facilities, but also, they were looking for a critical component needed to complete one of their projects. At the same time, the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 was announced, which rekindled Lee's passion and resentment after it was fading for 2 decades.
With a golden opportunity to destroy the Mishima Zaibatsu, Lee will have to disguise himself and enter the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 to put a stop to Heihachi Mishima, all while preventing the Mishima Zaibatsu from finding out his true intentions.
Now, about Lee Chaolan in Tekken 4: Out of his playable incarnations in Tekken, this version of the complicated yet charismatic silver fox is one of the strongest versions, if not, the strongest version of the character thus far despite being one of the most difficult characters to use. the Risk is sometimes worth the Reward. That's all I can say on that matter.
It's honestly hilarious hearing Lee Chaolan speaking full on English before he went to Japanese from Tekken 5 onwards. I get that he wanted to disguise himself at the time, but him fully speaking English sounds really awkward and unintentionally hilarious. Seriously, hearing him say: "Come On!" in English compared to Japanese is really hilarious. The sheer narm can make you laugh at the delivery from his voice actor hehe. It's no wonder Violet would eventually speak in English through his quotes.
Anyway, thank you guys for watching and I'll see you guys later.
Note: the black lines were noticeable in the video so that's one thing I apologize for. Is it either a problem with the emulator or something else in particular? I might have to look into it later on.
2nd Note: It turns out Lee has TWO english voice actors in the entire game. I didn't realize it until his ending.
