A Bleeding CircuitStatic stuns an alien and gets Medi-Kit treatment - from Playing X-Com: UFO Defens
In this highlight, a bleeding @circuitstatic drags himself to the UFO door, breaches it, bonks an alien over the head hard with a stun rod, then hobbles back to the medic to finally allow himself to be treated by the doctor's Medi-Kit. Here we get to see the healing / Medi-Kit interface for the first time, we see Circuit has 2 fatal wounds on his Torso so we Heal those, then he gets a Painkiller to the Head for good measure.
Soldiers were named after active chatters in the stream all day and this was used to add a storytelling aspect to the game, which was far more fun than I had anticipated.
This was an epic 10hr stream (well, 9hr 45mins or so) during which I mainly was showing @circuitstaticstudios one of my old favorite MS-DOS games, X-Com: UFO Defense, which we played directly from a copy of my game that I had as a kid, from my archives.
We chatted in his Discord on stream, which was open to other guildies as well. We will definitely be continuing this gameplay as we now have 8 other active chatters invested in the storyline as front line X-Com soldiers in the game!
Every so often, to take a 10 min break, we would all raid @circuitstaticstudios channel as he spun some of his music for us, then once I had taken care of my pets and / or gotten food or whatever, we would all raid back to my channel to continue the X-Com adventure together. This worked really well, as everyone was entertained the entire time. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/chrisprimeish
