A Co-op Third Person Action Roguelite With a Lot Of Platforming | Solar Raiders demo
11Hello everyone! More demos!!! This is Solar Raiders, a co-op tps action roguelite with a lot of parkour sections and so many pits where you can just fall. That last part combined with the cyberpunk/neon vibes made me think on Ghostrunner Game looks neat, action is smooth and apparently there will be many upgrades and weapons to choose from, reminding me to Enter The Gungeon. Demo was pretty short, but I think it was a perfect delivery for you to judge the game.
In my opinon, it is overall fun, but there is way too much fall damage. Yes, you can grapple to some places, but most enemies fly so it is hard to be aware of where are you standing while avoiding all those projectiles and shooting at the same time, and I ended up losing 80% of my hp because of it. If it was only about enemies, I could have gone with the highest difficulty with no issues (most likely), but thankfully didn't do it; otherwise I would still be complaining about fall damage xD.
Oh, also, some Blue Fire vibes (makes sense) in some upgrades and some of boss' attacks.
The demo is supposed to be online co-op, but I didn't find how to do it.
