Eternal Dusk is a dead game, at least as far as I come up with trying to find it. This is just a demo, but it was made public in 2010 in Unreal Engine 3, I assume, and it was never fully released. The demo showcases some clever mechanics using light and glitching through walls when in dark, but only some walls and it's not always clear which. There are also enemies lurking in the shadows, although I'm not sure they can hurt anyone. They just fly around menacingly. As for the story, well... the very amateurish artwork tells about the "world of dreams" and how it's ruled by two sibling forces: Ashlynn, our character, who's specifically and vaguely in charge of sweet dreams, and her brother Morphus, who rules over the nightmares, somehow. But Morphus is sick of his sister's bullcrap and wants to rule over the sweet dreams too, I guess. So he locks her in somedungeon or something. That's where our confusing game starts.
If you want to try it for yourself, you can get the demo on ModDB: http://www.moddb.com/games/eternal-dusk/downloads/eternal-dusk-demo
And if you can find more info about it, please let me know.
