Recently Senator Maggie Hassan of New Hampshire sent an open letter to the ESRB urging them to review the concept of predatory Loot Boxes when it comes to the Board’s rating system in light of the loot box controversy. She also made it very clear that the FTC would most likely begin investigations depending on how the ESRB responds. Their response was very political, surprising no one. In this video we also have a discussion on loot boxes as they relate to gambling and discuss what legislation may come to look like as put forward by Indiana, Washington, and Hawaii that is being spearheaded by Chris Lee of Hawaii.
