This talk is about taking a fun and accessible look at traditional narrative structures from movies, books, and stageplays, and how these structures don't always serve us well when we're working on games. Common criticism against narrative in games are statements like "I don't want to read a novel" or "I don't want to watch a movie", but game narrative doesn't need to resemble novels or movies.
This talk is aimed at people interested in games or are just starting out in the industry and might not yet have much experience with game narrative, or for people who have a lot of experience in games but not specifically in narrative.
