At first, Mario is in a relatively forgiving part of the Jungle in which water cushions his falls; then, the Jungle is flooded with poison goop, forcing Mario to take shelter on higher terrain; the poison doesn't get too high, however, and soon Mario can travel along it using Dry Bone's shell, but with the caveat that the rising liquid might crush him underneath the ground unless he minds the gaps carefully. In the same way, players must go from avoiding munchers to using them as platforms to racing one muncher "platform" to the end. Reset doors ensure that players are never trapped.
