Eschatos is a shmup by Qute, one that I and many others consider one of the best ever made; Developers have cited the game as an inspiration for their own work. It's available for PC, Switch, Playstation PS4/5, and Xbox 360. Console versions of the game come bundled with Judgement Silversword and Cardinal Sins, two games that released for the Wonderswan Color after emerging winners of a contest in 2001. Their influence on Eschatos is evident, with the formula nearly complete. Not only were they impressive for their time, but they remain so now; chiefly when considering they were both released for a handheld.
