Ultrakill is one the most mechanically-deep and aggressive FPS games I've played. This was true of Act 1, with the needle moved further still in the latest content update with Act 2. Published by New Blood and Developed by Hakita, we play as V1, a machine that operates on blood, but with mankind dead we are left with no option but to enter hell rich in fuel. Inspired by the Divine Comedy for its setting, the world-building is as deep as its gameplay--considering it feels limitless, that's saying something.
