A Game, Interrupted is a playthrough of a game that I do with a few rules:

1. No loading from a previous save.
2. If I die, the game is over.

It's effectively a hardcore run of games that generally are not designed for hardcore runs. When I die (and believe me, I will die), I will discuss what impact that has on the game's story. Usually, it will simply result in the antagonist winning. Sometimes, it may actually result in a better outcome. Who knows?

Well, the good news is that I found Nevarre. The bad news is, well, you'll see.

I'm not entirely sure how you even put out the flames. And I died with two medkits left. Embarrassing, although not nearly as embarrassing as some other deaths I've had.

Anyway, this is going to get complicated, especially if you haven't played the game. The plot gets a little bit complicated. Without JC to help him, Paul is unable to deactivate his kill switch. 24 hours after his defection is made known, Paul dies. The NSF is taken down, and the last obstacle to control of world leaders has been cleared.

The plan to control the elite of the country by holding the vaccine over their heads works, for a time. Page, the trillionaire who unleashed the vaccine on the world, merges with the AI Helios, who is unable to find a more suitable being to merge with. All opponents swept off the board, Page and Helios rule the world, ushering in a utopia for everyone who remains... as long as they don't get in their way.
