A Game Of Decoys "Mortyplicity" Review Rick & Morty Season 5 Episode 2
After Squid aliens dispose of a decoy family, Rick takes his family to investigate. But it soon turns into an out of control mystery to figure out: just who is the real Rick? And decoys make decoys, but they get lazy and create really poor decoys that know they are decoys.
Episode Synopsis: The Smiths suspect they're being hunted, but they don't even know who is real. Who's even real, broh? Are you real? Broh?
The first half of the show is about the Smith family trying to figure out what is going on with the decoys. At the end of the half, they discover that the Squid aliens are another version of them in disguise. It turns out that the decoys made decoys, thinking that they were the real ones instead of decoys. Rick describes the situation as an "Asimov Cascade." In the second half, we see different Smith families hunting each other down. Eventually, one Rick gets tired of it all and sends out a beacon to the other Smith families so that they will come and fight it out to be the true Smith family.
