idk why the mouse can move you. i played wolfenstein 3d and it had the same mechanic. personally it's pretty cool for w3d but for doom idk its kinda weird.

And for anyone curious:
Simply moving mouse up or down = Forward and Backward Respectively
Holding down Right Click = Move in all respective directions, no looking
you can kinda notice me hold down right click near the end of The Crusher moving in a slight circle. but the up and down kinda throw me off. and it's constant too. makes moving in directions kinda stunting.
