Battle Shapers is a fast, frantic roguelite FPS with a bit of Mega Man DNA. Choose your boss and off you go to a series of arenas with some challenging battles, collecting weapons, gadgets, and upgrades to survive. The core system is interesting and allows a good amount of build variety, and the combat is satisfying with fun, creative weapons. My only issue is that the balance is way off, with instant death bosses and massively spongy enemies, however, that's the kind of thing that can be dialed in over the months of EA updates. I'd say there's still plenty of fun to be had, just be aware the balance and difficulty are currently in a strange place.
