A Look Back at Smackdown vs Raw 2011
21,702Damn, the final Smackdown vs Raw game. If you are like me, you grew up playing the Smackdown vs Raw series. From doing parking lot brawls in the first one to playing GM modes. Playing the wild stories in season mode and eventually Road to Wrestlemania’s. I had so much fun back in the day just playing all of the SVRs. Every game brought something new to the table. The first SVR was like Here Comes the Pain Lite. SVR 2006 was trying to balance simulation and arcade gameplay. SVR 07 went next gen and at that point was the most realistic wrestling game ever. SVR 08 tried pushing the limits of 07 but didn’t hit the mark. Still enjoyed it though. SVR 09 was not the best but because of that game and what it put in motion. We got the amazing SVR 10.. and now here we were. Smackdown vs Raw 2011. We didn’t know it then, but this would be the final SVR game, so how did it go out? Was it a flop? Was it decent or did it go out like Kobe in his final game and drop 60? Lets find out
