A Magitek FPS? More like Sci-Fi Elder Scrolls.
0This was... an interesting game.
Not BAD, exactly, but not that great, either.
Part of this, I think, was due to how SLOWLY the storyline progressed.
And how much text there was to wade through, for the very beginning of the game.
If anyone knows what it's like to be lost in the beginning of Final Fantasy VIII when they're teaching you about the junction system.... this is worse.
Tons of exposition you don't want, and not giving enough explanation on how things work.
On the plus side, the concepts of assigning inventory to different parts of your body, expending ammo clips, and some of the other upgrades you can get, are VERY cool. It feels like.... actually, it feels like a (very) rough cross between Elder Scrolls and Deus Ex.
If you like gritty environments & brooding stories, this might be for you.
