ABOUT THIS GAME:-
The Man From The Graveyard is a cleverly constructed little narrative-driven murder mystery adventure where you unravel a dark secret while carrying out your job as a graveyard keeper.
In The Man From The Graveyard you take on the role of a graveyard keeper who is tasked with keeping a graveyard tidy. This involves turning up each day to water flowers, pull weeds, rake up leaves and flatten mole hills. The cleaner you keep the graveyard the more visitors it will get. You can chat to the visitors and soon it becomes apparent they’re harbouring a dark secret. As you chat to them each day you’ll learn more about their story, allowing you to piece together the mystery.
It does get a little repetitive towards the end, but aside from that it’s a great little murder mystery adventure. The way you can piece together what’s really been going on via the stories of each of the characters is very clever. Just be sure to pay attention to what they’re saying – you only get one chance to name the perpetrator!
