There's an experiment that was done in 1940 by the USSR which involved reanimating a dog's severed head. Seeing footage of that, it kind of stays with you. The severed wolf head in the guest room reminds me of that experiment.

That being said, this video was a relatively tame one without any jump scares, surprisingly. Having looked up the levels afterward to see where I might have missed a tinder box, apparently I skipped a trigger in the Guest Room for a grunt to appear, which ironically would have been the only enemy in the game to really show make a difference.

If you're looking for a puzzle solution, I even had to spend a bit of time figuring this one out.
