*** Pros / Cons ***
+ Extremely strong and durable
+ Shaving sharp edge out of the box
+ Secure and comfortable grip
+ Precise fit, well shaped guards
+ No hand shock when chopping
+ Versatile and practical as either survival or combat knife
- Expensive
- Swedge interferes with batoning
- Loose fit in the sheath
- Spine can't be used to strike sparks on a ferro rod
*** Verdict ***
As a multi-functional survival knife this is quite well designed, aside from a few flaws / drawbacks. It can cut, chop, pierce, pry, and smash if needed. Based on my testing I can say it would take a lot of hard (ab)use to even come close to damaging the blade.
There is a lot of attention to detail in the way the handle is shaped, and it's very practical. Despite the high production quality I can't help but feel it's somewhat over-priced. If you're not deterred by the price tag however I can recommend the AMF.
