A New Demo For This Awesome Deckbuilding Roguelike With Dices | Die In The Dungeon: Origins
6Hello everyone! We got a new demo for Die In The Dungeon, and this one is called Die In The Dungeon: Origins. If you don't remember, this is a deckbuilding roguelike where your "deck" are actually dices. I would call it "dicebuilding" but in theory for that you would have to be building and customizing your dices (like in Dice Forge), so it is more like you are customizing a deck made up of dices, which you can upgrade or add extra stats.
Gameplay-wise it has barely changed, the way you play dices, attack enemies and get attacked is still the same. Same with the after-battle rewards. However, the grid where you play the dices has slightly changed, same with a few enemies (also, I don't remember if this boss was in the previous demo, I only remember the queen bee).
They have upgraded the pixel-art and animations (I never complained about it, but this one looks cuter) and also have added a new events system (I honestly don't remember if that was before), where you need some specific dices to roll and you have to play with probabilities and rewards/punishments, which I really enjoy (similar to games like Across The Obelisk).
