An Auto Battler Roguelike with Kitties | Spellcats: Auto Card Tactics demo
4Hello everyone! Another demo here. This is Spellcats: Auto Card Tactics, an auto battler roguelite. It might look as monster taming and/or deckbuilder, but only because your monster are kitties and they are inside cards, but there is nothing about deckbuilding or taming here, you go into battle, the nekos fight on their own (starting by the ones on the far left) and by the end you can recruit more, and repeat. The main difference would be that in this game there are types like in Pokemon (fire, ice, water, and so on), but there are not strength and weaknesses, so it is mostly about the synergies. This game felt basically as a roguelite version of Super Auto Pets, but sadly I found a build that was pretty much OP, and all the others seemed weak, which made me think there was no reason to try different stuff if it is just going to be considerably weaker. You judge.
