A New World of Carnivores? | Carnivores World #1
31Welcome to a new series for the channel and certainly a new take on Carnivores too! Welcome ladies and gentlemen and all beyond and in-between to Carnivores World, a Warcraft 3 Carnivores mod! Ronnie approached me with the offer to try the mod out for myself and showcase it on the series so I'm more than happy to do just that! There's a lot of info to go over so this might be a bit of a bigger description but let's get into things;
Carnivores World is a modded map for Warcraft 3 and as such you need a version of Warcraft 3 to play it. The mod is supported for Warcraft 3 patch 1.26 or higher and can be run in Warcraft 3 Reforged as long as the Classic graphics have been selected for the game. The build I'm playing is a closed beta/wip build but there is a public version of an older build available and linked below for anyone who might like to try the mod/map out for themselves. The mod is still ongoing development so there are placeholders, spelling mistakes, etc. through it as it is continually being worked on and developed by its team.
With that info all out of the way we'll do a series showing off how it plays and see what all is in store. It truly does feel like Carnivores World is a new world of Carnivores with just how vast and how much content is included in this, well, content! The developers of the Carnivores World map/mod are Ronnie, Mihail (Dragonlor), and Infernall with credits for assets as follows;
All standard creatures from Carnivores, Carnivores 2, Carnivores Ice Age belong to/made by Action Forms.
All standard creatures models were converted and modelled by Mihail (Dragonlor).
Brontosaurus modeled by Mihail (Dragonlor).
Tyrannotitan belongs to/made by Poharex.
Creatures of the Far North mod belong to/made by Ophious.
Creatures of the Triassic and Carnivores+ mods belong to/made by Poharex.
Creatures of the Fallen Kings mod belong to/made by MoltenBarry.
Some animal animations were made from models made by Hayate from Hiveworkshop.
Analyotyrannus and Mojoceratops belong to/made by Cactus.
