"A New You" Trophy Guide (Change your face) - Skyrim Anniversary Edition/Dawnguard DLC
Skyrim Anniversary Edition - New to Dawnguard is the ability to change the physical appearance of your character. To do this, visit The Ragged Flagon in Riften and find a Wood Elf named Galathil who is a hooded figure sitting on a bench. You can either do this of your own accord or by talking to guards in the various cities, who will occasionally mention her and give you a quest marker to her location. Note: You do not need to be a member of the Thieves Guild to enter and talk to her.
Galathil will offer you the chance to change your appearance for 1000 Gold. You do not even have to change anything about your appearance for this trophy to unlock, but you must still pay her and then back out. Finally, she will not change your face if you have contracted Vampirism from enemies in the main game or are a Vampire Lord from the Dawnguard main questline. You must first cure your Vampirism before you can change your face.
If you don't want to waste the 1000 Gold for the sake of the trophy, make a save first, then pay Galathil to change your appearance and unlock the trophy before loading your old save again.
