Sit back and relax while I try out the original N64 Paper Mario from 2001. I've always been aware of the Paper Mario series since it first came out, and I know its had its highs and lows, but I had never ever played one before!

It's hard to believe this game has been out for about 20 years (if you go by it's Japanese release date) and I still hadn't tried it until now. It's not even on original hardware either. I'm playing it on the Virtual Console on my Wii U with a Wii Pro Controller. Watch as I get completely lost figuring out the game with a completely different controller, and hear my initial thoughts on the first title of this series.

Want to get a hold of it yourself? You can get it on the Nintendo eShop here :: https://www.nintendo.co.uk/Games/Nintendo-64/Paper-Mario-269624.html

If you're after a physical copy though, good luck with that. It normally sells at around £100-200 these days (correct as of upload date of this video).
