The Hori Split Pad Pro are joy-con replacements for when you play your Switch in handheld mode. They're much better and beefier than the stock joy-con, but they come with a few caveats. Are they worth picking up?

In the States there's a 3-5 week waiting time for these on Amazon.com, but in the UK they're very easy to get a hold of. I ordered mine in August and received them the next day! I've tried a few different Switch controllers in the past, even third party ones, but these are the first joy-con replacements I've tried.

Do these live up to the hype?

A little edit: turns out there's one carry case that WILL hold your Switch with the Split Pad Pro attached. YouTuber "It Came From A Box" found one and reviewed it here :: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QNoo1SNgIMo
