While Baroque Decay could have stood to add an extra couple pixels to their ugly sprites, the cutscenes are nice and feature obscure symbolism that is lost on me.

Not counting Fran Bow, this is the first horror game I have had the courage to attempt. If I wanted to be stressed out with limited money, I already have real life, yet I can’t bring myself to forsake little Hans. He should have known better than to fight with his mom. That’s how The Drifting Classroom opens, too, and I cannot emphasize enough how much you don’t want to end up like the kids in that story!
