I've tried to rap, but it doesn't fly. One thing that puts me off is all that vulgar language I once loved growing up. It seemed wrong and right at the same time. I've written 6 books of poetry and prose about many things of loss and hope, not having any profanity within them, but I feel like I've changed after seeing the Gaza genocide. So much so that I've given up trying to hope for a free Palestine and the end of the apartheid state. This is my last prayer to Allah, so you may pray it with me. We need a strong person from Allah's command to unite the earth and end the bloodshed.
