Hello everyone! Another demo from the latest Steam Next Festival. This is Shadow of the Depth, a top-down action roguelite with some RPG elements that really reminded me to Into Evil. The levels are randomly generated, which can lead to some early painful encounters, like the one I got in my first run. Combat and upgrades were pretty fun, but not a lot variety yet (sadly, I didn't find any other ultimate besides the damage reduction, which was a bit annoying). Dashes have a huge cooldown, so the idea would be to use the parry, which is done by holding a key and it wasn't working properly against the boss (or maybe I wasn't holding it long enough?). Cool graphics, cool ideas, but the boss killed the run for me.
