I promise that PJ64 1.7 gets the physics wrong too. I'm not sure which version of PJ64 fixed the physics, but they're fixed with 2.3.

Conclusion: I'm okay with players using PJ64 2.3 or the mupen64plus build available in m64p, but not any old versions of PJ64 or the build of mupen64plus available in BizHawk. I don't care about graphics plugins, but please do use the best ones available, even if you have to download them separately.
