A response To 'Atheists Can't Define Atheism'
6A while back I mentioned that I would probably be responding to more 'Questions for atheists' videos and blog posts. Unfortunately (or fortunately for you I guess!) there haven't really been any interesting ones. All that I've come across have had the same old questions. I did come across a couple of videos that I thought might be interesting to respond to, starting with this one discussing the definition of atheism.
The original video is from a Christian, and in it he is criticising the fact that there are multiple definitions of atheism that exist. And that these definitions contradict each other. As well as making some of the usual silly claims like atheism is a religion, and atheism is a worldview. Including making arguments for why he thinks both of these things are true.
Unsurprisingly, this video is a response to the claims and arguments he makes. Looking at why they don't work, as well as looking at why there can be no such thing as a 'one true definition' of atheism.
