According to the channel Know The Word - Live The Word, there are no honest educated atheists. By this, they mean that there are no atheists that are educated in science that are honest. Their reasoning for this is that if someone is educated in science, and an honest person, then they will be agnostic, not atheist. So, if someone is educated in science, and an atheist, then they must not be honest.
They give their reasoning for this in their video 'Are Scientifically Literate Atheists Extinct?'. In this video we take a look at Know The Word - Live The Word's video, and put their argument under the microscope. This video covers only the first half of their video, but the argument completely falls apart in the first half. If anyone wants me to cover the other half I would be happy to, but it feels unnecessary.
In this video I look at some of their claims about science, why their reasoning from science doesn't hold up, why their arguments for why we should be agnostic don't hold up, and more. I also try something new in this video, I try injecting a little bit of humour. Enjoy!
