So, we managed to take down Hades at extreme measures 4. It was a challenge to be sure. However, I think we will leave it on from here on out, since we know we can do it.
Our next weapon is Malphon the Twin Fists. We had an extremely strong run with it last time. Our first god is Artemis, and we feel that crit on our attack seems like a good idea. However, when Zeus shows up next, we start to kind of regret our choice. Crit seems to work better on slower, high powered hits, and for something quick like our fists, perhaps the lightning chaining ability from Zeus would have been better.
As the run continues, our build starts to form. We are focusing on high damage calls from Zeus, and using the frequent crits from our attack to boost it higher. Interestingly enough, we always seem to be able to Artemis and Zeus boons, while ignoring the other gods (except for Hermes who doesn't really count).
This run shows some weakness throughout due to how long it takes to clear most rooms, but shines on bosses. When we use our call, the damage is insane, but will it be enough to take on extreme Hades? Stay tuned to find out.
