Welcome to A San Marino Challenge, where I will attempt to turn the small nation of San Marino into a world football powerhouse! The actual challenge involves taking San Marino to #1 in the World Rankings while simultaneously taking a club based in San Marino to Champions League glory. But it wouldn't be interesting to me without a few changes!

This episode will start the update series! In this one, we're going to do a bit of a season preview, as we enter our second season of top division play. We have some new faces and some departures, but I think we are definitely stronger than we were last season. We had a pretty good preseason, so we're going to try and ride that momentum as we start the season.

The board is expecting us to not get relegated, and the media picks us in 14th, but after last season's 8th place finish, I think we should be aiming for a top 10 finish with an outside shot at European football.
