A simple concept and potential solution for implementation with every Escape From Tarkov extraction.
It's no secret to any well-informed player that is not explicitly in denial. Extract camping is a problem that has plagued this game since I every first tried playing it 4 years ago. I came up with one potential solution to this issue that is quite simple. If you watch the video it should be self-explanatory as to how this system could be further designed, modified, and elaborated on.
I have other designs and ideas that could also be adopted to help with similar related issues. A few of which were also briefly discussed in this video, as they pertain directly to this problem. This particular design that was presented is relatively foolproof. This presents a level of fairness that is completely non-existent under the currently inadequate extraction system.
As it stands, almost every single amendment and system to implement to the game that I have discussed, eventually ends up in the game. Since I started live streaming this game 4 years ago, I've proposed and lamented for several adjustments and additions. Most of which have since been implemented within the past 3 years. Whether smol minds can realize or accept it, I've only ever suggested these out of pure necessity for the health of the game and playerbase, not myself.
This includes things such as, but is not limited to; searching traders without having flea market unlocked, linked search market without flea, a Scav 'Karma' system, gun preset save system, the player weight system, displaying account names for player scavs, teammates preview on lobby screen, shifting towards more dynamic loot spawns, anti-RMT additions with any lasting impact or purpose, offline co-op mode, plus literally an endless supply of new concepts.
This is one simple amendment the game desperately needs in my opinion. I place more precedence and weight on this issue above almost everything else that exists in the game. This is a fundamentally "game-breaking" issue, unfairly robbing people of the experience they are seeking. As well as explicitly wasting their time at the expense of braindead campers that don't belong in this game or any "computer game" to begin with, as a matter of fact.
If this was the "Intended" gameplay, you would see 9 out of 10 players all camping extracts. This is not what is intended, this is an exception. Only the most selfish and narcissistic piece of trash would even consider doing this to someone else to begin with. Without wholly thinking about the other human beings that are behind the other computers, and how this ridiculously selfish act they chose to specifically make on their own volition affects everyone around them.
The problem is that these "people" (see 'NPC', wojak, etc.) are incapable of higher thought, so much so that we have to do it for them. Unfortunately there are cretins that literally have no sense of morality and are selfish beyond all reason also. That's why we have to implement systems like this, those that don't even belong shouldn't ruin it for those looking for a genuine experience. That is not the experience that genuine fans of the game are there to partake in. There is no valid justification, and doing it just because it happened to you doesn't make you any better than the last idiot.
